Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Provide employees with information on group insurance and related benefits.
  • Participate in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) meetings, including recording minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Collaborate with the Payroll department for seamless processing.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Support corporate HR initiatives and manage other organizational requests as needed.
  • Manage disciplinary procedures in alignment with company policies.
  • Update and maintain accurate job descriptions.
  • Develop and share internal communications related to HR matters.
  • Oversee workplace safety programs, including managing disability claims and WSIB cases.
  • Support corporate HR initiatives and manage other organizational requests as needed.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • CHRP designation is an asset but not mandatory.
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally within retail, warehousing, and distribution sectors.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Knowledge of the US Human Resources requirements is an asset
  • Ability to travel between locations within the GTA is required
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
