Job description

Job Title : Live-In Caregiver (Full-Time)

Location : Richmond Hill, ON

Compensation : Competitive salary, accommodation included

Start Date : TBD Flexible for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

Personal Care

Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Catheter care and personal hygiene support
Daily skin care and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries

Mobility & Transfers

Safe operation of ceiling lift for all transfers

Repositioning support in wheelchair and bed

Assist with range-of-motion exercises and physiotherapy as directed

Home Support

Light housekeeping , laundry , and meal preparation

Medication reminders and basic support

Occasional grocery shopping and errands

Companionship & Well-Being

Provide emotional support and companionship

Engage in daily activities and assist with planning and communication

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Live-In Caregiver or PSW

Experience with MS or physical disabilities preferred

Proficient in safe transfer techniques and ceiling lift use (training available)

Valid CPR / First Aid certification

Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check

Professional, respectful , and client-centered approach to care

Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (preferred)

Non-smoker preferred

Schedule & Accommodation

Live-in role with scheduled time off

Flexibility required to meet evolving client needs

Private, furnished bedroom with shared kitchen and bathroom

Quiet, accessible condo in Richmond Hill
