The following qualifications are preferred for the Learning Support Teacher : Minimum 5 years classroom teacher experience 1-year additional post secondary education in one of the following programs : Learning Supports Inclusive Education Special Education Disability Studies A combination of education and experience could be considered. The successful candidate must possess, or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certi fi cate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certi fi cate you must have applied for initial certi fi cation with Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca / teacher-certi fi cation.
