Role Overview
In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our client’s market presence within industries such as aerospace, fuel cells, defense, automotive, marine, and mining. You will identify and secure new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships. Leveraging your technical background, you will effectively communicate complex product information to diverse audiences, ensuring that client needs are met with innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement targeted sales strategies to capture and expand market share across various high-tech and industrial sectors.
- Proactively identify, engage, and convert new business prospects while managing and growing current accounts.
- Serve as the primary liaison for prospective and existing clients, fostering trust through clear, technical, and solution-oriented communication.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that highlight the technical capabilities and unique value propositions of our client’s offerings.
- Translate complex technical details into compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market innovations to continuously refine sales strategies.
- Develop, negotiate, and finalize proposals, quotes, and contracts with prospective customers.
- Leverage CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Thomasnet, ZoomInfo) to meticulously track sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure follow-up on all client interactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and optimal client satisfaction.
- Arrange and participate in local and international client meetings to drive relationship building and secure new business opportunities.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to support travel as needed (valid driver’s license required).
Desired Qualifications & Experience
3-5+ years of direct sales experience in the manufacturing or CNC machining industry, with a demonstrated ability to close large-scale deals.Experience in high-tech sectors such as aerospace or contract manufacturing sales is highly desirable.Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.Adept at conveying technical product information in a clear, compelling manner.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales, Business, or a related field is preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing a robust sales pipeline.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and deliver consistent results.Why Join Us?
