The Bridges Department – Central Region, is looking for a Bridge / Structures Engineer for our team in Ontario. Reporting to the Manager, Bridges – Central Region, the engineer will be responsible for carrying out engineering activities in the field of bridges and engineering structures such as the development, design, evaluation, inspection, and execution of various projects.

This is a hybrid position with the office based in Toronto .

Your role within the Team :

• Support and develop the technical knowledge of professionals (engineers and technicians) including carrying out studies, structural analysis, and evaluations.
• Carry out preliminary and detailed structural design including tender preparation for the construction and / or rehabilitation of bridges and other structures.
• Carry out structure inspections and asset management activities for existing structures.
• Preparation of proposals including technical publications and conferences.
