Community Support Specialist

Village Media a community impact organization is l ooking for a community support specialist to join us in supporting Guelph and its surrounding communities.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter who is passionate about helping to connect businesses with our large local audience.

What you will do :

Lead generation and outreach- calling local businesses using a variety of tools to set up appointments

Community building growing a network of local contacts

Shadowing existing sales reps to gain insight into the sales process

Working directly with and supporting the sales team in reviewing monitoring and fulfilling advertising campaigns

Assisting with the administration and coordination of campaigns

Working with graphic designers to ensure ad creation process runs smoothly and ads are loaded and delivered on-schedule

Completing various office administration responsibilities

Connecting with clients for onboarding support

Handling multiple priorities simultaneously

Performing other duties and projects as directed

Minimum qualifications for the position include :

The ability to work alone and as part of a team

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with Gmail Google Docs Google Sheets and other Google applications

Salary Range : $48000 - $52000
