Community Trust Company (CTC) is a member of the Questrade Group of Companies (QFG).
Responsibilities :
- Leads the development of the CTC Risk Management Framework (RMF) and associated risk appetite statements.
- Leads the creation, review, and implementation of company-wide risk and control oversight processes.
- Contributes to the strategic direction through development and implementation of Risk Management strategies.
- Establishes interactions with key stakeholders and ensures identification, measurement, and management of key risks.
- Provides risk reporting to the CTC Board, CTC Executive, and QFG Risk Management group.
- Leads key risk management committees and maintains relationships with oversight partners.
- Acts as the primary point of contact relative to OSFI’s supervision of the Company.
- Leads and manages the Risk Management team effectively.
Requirements :
- Senior level risk management experience within an OSFI regulated financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of credit, market, liquidity, and operational risk frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of OSFI regulations and risk management principles.
- Experience working with an independent Board and Board Committees.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure robust risk management in a responsive environment.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead teams effectively.
- Effective communication and influencing skills.
