A global mid-sized life sciences company is looking to add an Account Manager to their team in Vancouver, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for the sales and support of our clients’ products within your assigned region. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience working in a commercial role within the medical device industry and should have prior experience with value-based and strategic selling.
Responsibilities :
- Achieve sales revenue quotas for products.
- Manage the entire sales process, including gaining customer interest, providing quotations, collecting customer orders, managing product shipments, overseeing customer implementation, and training clinical staff and distributors.
- Launch new products in collaboration with Marketing in the territory.
- Establish strong relationships with physicians and clinicians.
- Be innovative in creating new sales opportunities for products.
- Conduct peer-to-peer and promotional events in the region.
Education and Experience :
Minimum of a BA / BS degree or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years in a similar commercial role within the medical device industry.Strong financial acumen and ability to influence financial customers.Critical strategic thinking, with the ability to shape both medium- and long-term business strategies.Strong clinical acumen.Proven territory management skills and the ability to drive multiple initiatives.Ability to manage a complex sales process that involves both clinical and financial elements.Ability to maintain established core business hours with additional hours and weekends as needed due to project assignments, required travel, or business necessity.Proficiency in using desktop software applications such as MS Office, LMS, and CRM.
