Safety Manager

We're seeking a Safety Manager to join our client in Dartmouth on a term contract.

This is a hands-on role for a confident, experienced safety professional who is passionate about maintaining safety and compliance in warehouse operations while contributing to a variety of projects and initiatives within a dynamic and thriving business.

Key Responsibilities for the Job :

• Lead the team in prioritizing action plans, gathering input from managers, and overseeing the implementation of next steps
• Perform day-to-day safety recordings and investigate incidents
• Chair committee meetings and monitor emerging safety matters
• Update and maintain the company safety manual as required
• Collaborate closely with production staff to implement practical safety programs
• Lead initiatives to communicate safety information, encourage employee participation, and recognize safe work practices
• Provide general support and complete ad hoc projects as assigned
