Title - Community Manager (Residential Building & Tenant Services)
Location - Toronto, ON
Pay Range - $65k - $70k / annually
Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative and resident services operations across multiple buildings, ensuring high standards of property appeal and resident satisfaction.
- Manage and supervise on-site administrative and leasing staff, including training, scheduling, performance monitoring, and conducting reviews.
- Conduct regular building, ground, and suite inspections, ensuring necessary maintenance and repairs are completed.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, oversee contractor work, and ensure quality control for all property-related services.
- Assist in leasing vacant suites, including processing applications, conducting credit checks, and administering tenancy agreements.
- Handle rent collection, banking procedures, issuing late payment notices, and attending Landlord and Tenant Board hearings when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records, oversee fire and life safety operations, and ensure compliance with governing legislation.
- Participate in marketing and advertising initiatives, market surveys, and rental rate adjustments.
- Liaise with accounting and payroll departments to ensure up-to-date financial records and timely reporting.
- Organize tenant appreciation events and contribute to resident communications.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Strong understanding of Ontario legislation , including the Residential Tenancy Act, Employment Standards Act, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.Knowledge of building systems, HVAC operations, and general maintenance .Excellent oral and written communication skills , along with experience in leasing and marketing.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Yardi Voyager .Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
