Job descriptionMaintain detailed records of work completed, including the location and condition of all equipment Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Operate a range of vehicles, tools, and construction equipment Provide accurate information regarding underground gas distribution lines Monitor excavation activities to ensure underground facilities are safeguarded Use electronic distance measuring equipment to determine precise locations Ground Disturbance - Level 1 program required. First Aid Certificate is an asset; the employer will provide training if needed. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certificate is an asset; employer will provide training if needed. Driving record check (abstract) required Valid driver's license required Vehicle will be supplied by employer Steel-toed safety boots Gloves Safety equipment / gear Hard hat Safety vest Attention to detail Combination of sitting, standing, walking Bending, crouching, kneeling Physically demanding Work under pressure
