MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or other related field preferred.
- Site based experience considered an asset
- Experience in the Construction industry or related field.
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills required of a professional.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other operating groups
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, HRIS)
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and effectively meet deadlines.
- Able to pass background requirements and meet all requirements for entry to customer job sites (drug screens, safety, etc).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Work with the HR team, site project managers, and site superintendents to meet necessary recruitment requirements for project sites.
- Helps facilitate the processing of new hire paperwork for craft, overhead, and salaried employees.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding
- Gathers information to support appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Completing employee safety training and orientations, and ensuring certifications do not lapse
- Provide applicable employee records to customers as required for pre-job mobilization
- Generates employee reports and provides information.
- Receives phone calls with complaints, payroll issues, questions from job sites.
- Other duties as assigned
