Overview

Assistant store manager responsible for daily operations, staff management, merchandising, marketing, budgeting, and customer service in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

Direct and control daily operations

Evaluate daily operations

Plan and organize daily operations

Manage staff and assign duties

Determine merchandise and services to be sold

Implement price and credits policies

Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale

Develop and implement marketing strategies

Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses

Determine staffing requirements

Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages

Supervise office and volunteer staff (1-2 people)

Qualifications

Education : Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.

Experience : 1 to less than 7 months.

Work setting : Willing to relocate; relocation costs not covered by employer; Retail business.

Transportation : Own transportation.
