URGENT : Nanny

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Nanny / Caregiver to provide personalized care and support for an elderly individual experiencing short-term memory loss and mobility challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience in elder care, possess a nurturing attitude, and be adept at managing daily activities with sensitivity and patience.Responsibilities : -Help with personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.-Assist with walking and movement, including the use of mobility aids as needed. Provide stability and support to ensure safety and prevent falls.-Offer reminders for daily tasks. Use gentle cues and routines to help with memory recall.-Perform housekeeping duties, including meal preparation, cleaning, organizing, laundry, etc.-Engage in meaningful conversation and activities to provide emotional support and reduce feelings of isolation.-Monitor health conditions and administer medication as prescribed. Coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed. Assist with transport to any appointments.Qualifications : -Previous experience in elderly care, particularly with individuals facing memory loss and mobility issues, is highly desirable.-Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to provide empathetic support. Knowledge of mobility aids and techniques to prevent falls is essential.Certification : First Aid and CPR certification required. Additional training in dementia or memory care is a plus.-Ability to assist with mobility and perform physical tasks related to caregiving.-Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.Schedule : Monday to Friday from 7 : 00AM to 3 : 00PM.Compensation : We offer a competitive rate based on experience, and the right candidate will become an integral part of our family.
