Our integrated solutions and project delivery strategies improve project timelines and processes, generating increased capabilities for projects including outfitting highways, transit systems, airports, and municipal contracts. Job Summary Reporting to the General Manager, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to lead our team and oversee our construction vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities and be responsible for managing the maintenance and utilization of the fleet, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities Inspire and motivate staff, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Develop and implement streamlined policies and procedures to optimize shop operations. Oversee daily activities to ensure efficiency and productivity in all business functions. Manage equipment assets and inventory. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively. Improve administrative processes to enhance workflow and operational efficiency. Identify opportunities for fleet maintenance improvements to enhance performance. Strengthen practices to ensure timely repairs and minimize vehicle downtime. Establish reporting mechanisms, analyze fleet data, utilization and performance. Conduct performance reviews and support the ongoing development of team members. Ad hoc reporting / projects as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred. 3+ years in an industrial shop setting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role. Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Basic proficiency in automotive diagnostic equipment, repair tools, and shop management software. Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry compliance requirements.
