Job Description

Carmichael Engineering is seeking a Building Automation systems technician to support growth in our Ottawa branch. The BAS Technician will provide field technical support / service as required for the service and maintenance of our customer Building Automation Systems.

Demonstrated ability to :

• Use technical knowledge and experience to conduct check-out, verification and calibration and preventative maintenance of Building Automation Systems and its BAS Field components
• Working knowledge with computer based BAS programming, Microsoft Program Suite. Such as Visio is a definite requirement. Autocad is a benefit.
• Work under pressure in a service minded industry being professional and courteous towards customers and fellow workers.
• Perform graphical interface and programming controller to accomplish minor HVAC routines. Block Programing and / or Line programing a Definite asset.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
