We are eagerly searching for a motivated individual to join our national Property Management Team team as a Property Administration Analyst. This role works directly with the VP, Office / Industrial Portfolio and will support Property Management teams from coast to coast.

As a key contributor, you will be responsible for monitoring capital projects, ensuring their accuracy and completeness. We will rely on your input for operational budgeting and forecasting processes, contributing to the success of our endeavors. In addition, you will act as the point person for the smooth transmission of financial and leasing data for the overall portfolio.

This role is on a hybrid schedule, splitting time between the onsite office and working remotely. If you thrive in a customer-centric role and have a keen interest in property management and real estate, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :

  • Effectively collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Complete review and analysis of monthly financial reports, identify and flag areas of concern
  • Create and administer projects in ProCore
  • Regularly review status of projects in ProCore and identify areas of concern
  • Prepare reporting for periodical financial and capital project review meetings
  • Prepare monthly parking revenue summary statements and distribute to the appropriate teams
  • Prepare job cost in Yardi for capital projects
  • Act as point person for inquiries related to ProCore, job costing, and other national applications
  • Co-ordinate coding and payment of regional and national invoices
  • Complete MPAC forms
  • Assist with excel spreadsheets for tracking financial and operational data
  • Assist in monthly / quarterly reporting requirements
  • Assist with the annual budget planning and execution
  • Other job duties as reasonably assigned

WHAT YOU BRING :

  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate with foundational knowledge in real estate accounting and administration
  • Post secondary education in finance, accounting or real estate management preferred
  • Pursuing an accounting designation an asset
  • Good communication skills with ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • General knowledge of real estate policies and procedures
  • Proven ability to work as a team player as well as independently
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex accounting data
