PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A POOL OF CANDIDATES FOR THE RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER-IN-TRAINING POSITION FOR POTENTIAL FUTURE NEEDS

The AtkinsRéalis Rail, Transit & Mobility group designs and builds lasting rail infrastructure for cities and communities across the globe.

Your role within the team :

Conceptual and detailed design in Trackwork and Alignment, as well as potential opportunities in other disciplines :

Rail Control Systems

Rolling Stock

Systems Engineering

Systems Safety Assurance

Project Management

Civil Design

Field engineering and construction support.

Coordination of project deliverables and associated time management / teamwork.

Multi-disciplinary coordination and communication.

Communication with clients, contractors and / or other stakeholders.

Drawing and documentation sign / seal (if applicable; this does not apply to EIT applicants).

Assistance with project management tasks such as scheduling and estimating.

Participation in the development of service offers (bids / pursuits).

Attendance at the office (Vancouver or Burnaby) at least twice per week on average.

The ideal candidate :

A university degree in Civil Engineering.

Registration or eligibility for registration with the Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).

Experience in railway engineering or a related field or a desire to learn.

Computer competency and familiarity with AutoCAD and / or Microstation.

High competency with Microsoft Office suite.

Good communication skills / soft skills.

Strong work ethic and career aspirations.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $69,100 - $80,000 annually). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role.
