With a new production facility established in Markham to meet soaring product demands, they are building a team committed to excellence. This Electronic Quality Check Technician position is a critical component of their quality management system. You will be joining a dynamic manufacturing & logistics team and playing a vital role in upholding the company's strong brand and reputation for high-quality, reliable electronic assemblies.

Advantages

Secure a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position with the potential for long-term growth.

Enjoy a stable, consistent day shift schedule (8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday), promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Work in a brand-new, modern production facility in Markham as part of a growing company.

Join a leading international electronics manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality.

Be a key member of a critical manufacturing & logistics team, making a tangible impact on product quality.

Opportunity for professional development and learning in a high-tech electronics environment.

Work in a collaborative, supportive, and safety-conscious team environment.

Gain valuable experience in a rapidly expanding sector of the manufacturing & logistics industry.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed visual, dimensional, and functional inspections and tests on all incoming raw materials, electronic components, and sub-assemblies.

Compare incoming materials against purchase orders, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality control procedures to ensure full compliance.

Utilize a wide range of inspection tools and equipment, including microscopes, calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and electronic testing devices.

Accurately identify, document, and report any non-conforming items, defects, damages, or discrepancies found during the inspection process.

Initiate non-conformance reports (NCRs) and collaborate with the quality team to determine the disposition of rejected materials (e.g., return to vendor, rework, scrap).

Maintain meticulous, accurate, and up-to-date records of all inspection results, test data, and quality documentation in the company's quality management system (QMS).

Communicate and collaborate effectively with procurement, engineering, and production teams to address and resolve quality-related issues promptly.

Provide feedback to suppliers regarding material quality and compliance, contributing to supplier performance management.

Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to quality control processes, inspection methods, and efficiency.

Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment to ensure accuracy.

Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, quality standards (such as IPC standards, if applicable), and workplace procedures to foster a safe and productive manufacturing & logistics environment.

Support the quality department in other tasks, such as in-process or final inspections, as required.

Qualifications

Post-secondary technical education, diploma, or certification in quality control, electronics technology, or a related field is highly preferred.

Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience in a quality control, inspection, or testing role.

Direct experience within an electronic manufacturing (manufacturing & logistics) or a related high-tech industry is a significant advantage.

Demonstrable knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
