The position is based in Vancouver, BC, and offer the opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that is shaping the future of energy and recycling.

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer to lead technical efforts and drive engineering innovation in the lithium-ion battery recycling process. You will oversee the development and scaling of the recycling process, leading a team of engineers and collaborating across departments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and execute engineering strategies for the recycling plant, ensuring optimization of processes and scalability.
  • Drive major R&D projects to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of recycling technologies.
  • Manage a team of engineers and support their professional growth.
  • Interface with senior leadership to align engineering efforts with corporate goals.
  • Stay on top of industry advancements and identify opportunities to incorporate new technologies into the process.

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in the battery recycling or battery metals industries, with a strong engineering background.
  • Extensive experience in PCAM or recycling technologies.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing engineering teams.
  • Master’s degree or higher in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Science, etc.).
  • Experience in managing large-scale engineering projects and developing new systems.
