JUNIOR HIGH SOCIAL STUDIES / ENGLISH TEACHER REQUIRED for ASHMONT SCHOOL Ashmont School requires a 1.0 FTE probationary Social Studies and English teacher for the 2024-2025 school year commencing August 28, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

The full teaching assignment will include Grade 7-9 Social Studies and English and could include other options dependent on the skills and experience of the successful individual.

Ashmont School, located in Ashmont, Alberta, is a grade K-12 school with approximately 520 students.The successful candidate will : have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate be committed to student-centered learning understand and correctly use formative / summative assessment practise effective differentiated learning strategies to ensure learning use technology to enhance learning and engage learners be collaborative and committed to building relationships with students, parents and staff have strong curriculum knowledge have experience and / or training in cross cultural education For more information, contact Mrs.
