Position Type : Hybrid, 3 days / week onsite in Toronto (subject to change, no exceptions)

Roles and Responsibilities :

The Report Developer will support automation of regular and ad-hoc reporting focused on engineering value delivery. The team produces cyclical and ad-hoc reports covering Project Portfolio Execution, Risk Remediation, and Change Management.

Designs, implements, and maintains data analytics and reporting solutions for Project Portfolio Management.
Communicates with project and portfolio management practitioners to support report adoption, validate data, and gather feature requests.
Collaborates with SMEs to understand data requirements and translate them into data models.
Assembles large, complex data sets, identifies logical connections, and automates data validation and ETL processes.
Contributes to the evolution of Project Portfolio Management processes and tools.

Must Have Skills / Experience / Qualifications :

At least 5 years of experience with :

Power BI / M language

SQL

JIRA / JQL

Designing solutions for complex corporate systems

Strong technical background with experience in relational databases, data quality, analytics, ETL, and reporting.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a software engineering background.

Outcome-oriented, capable of delivering, executing, identifying risks, and resolving issues quickly. Able to influence outcomes across multiple organizations and stakeholders.

Ability to think abstractly and simplify complex issues or solutions into actionable tasks.
