Data Analyst

On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Data Analyst.

Data Analyst Job Description

Develop and maintain Reports for the Cyber Security Operations Team to enable informed business decisions

Participate in security compliance and audit efforts

Coordinate actions to be taken by different areas for audit

Attend meetings to Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security-focused tools and services including project leadership roles

Develop and interpret security policies and procedures

Develop and deliver training materials and perform general security awareness and specific security technology training

Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies

Data Analyst Mandatory Skills

2+ years of recent hands-on Power BI visualization experience with the ability to create reports and dashboards to present to executives

2+ years of recent hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel for reporting capabilities

Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, working on ad- hoc requests and compiling data for reports

Demonstrated knowledge of one or more key information service standards such as SDLC, ITIL, QA / testing, Project Management, Six Sigma, etc.

Strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint

Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization

Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate and work closely with external vendors

Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions

Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction

Good time management and organizational skills to effectively manage high scale projects

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

Data Analyst - Nice to Have Skills

Previous experience with Cybersecurity is a strong asset but not a must-have requirement

CISSP certificate is an asset

Previous FI or Banking experience
