Datastage Developer - SQL, Shell Scripting

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related technical field

• 7+ years of work experience as a Developer or Technical Systems Analyst
• 3+ years of work experience on Information Technology projects supporting an enterprise-wide environment.
• Strong technical experience working with IBM Data Stage, SQL and Shell scripting.
• Experience working on projects developing and implementing applications for business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skillset, including the ability to transform business logic described in business requirements into solutions that include integration between DataStage servers and databases.
• A self-starter attitude (e.g., someone who can take initiative to own their project and drive it to completion)
• Hands-on working knowledge of SQL Server
• Dig deep into performance, scalability, capacity, and reliability problems to resolve them.
• Experience with design patterns, data structures and algorithms, strong mathematical / analytical background.
