What you’ll do :
You will be responsible for delivering legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here” through :
- Provide information, assistance, and exceptional customer service to internal & external customers
- Complete journal entries, and period end reconciliations
- Assist with tax remittances, internal audits, interim and year-end audit requests, financial expense analysis and completion of attainable margin fuel reports.
- Review procurement and audit department inventory packages, investigate irregularities, and advise department leaders on any corrections required
- Follow up with any errors or variances to ensure accurate reporting
- General duties to ensure all areas of responsibility are safe, organized, clean and tidy
Who you are : You are interested in a career in Finance and :
Have a Business Diploma, Accounting Certificate or Two progressive accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution or equivalent accounting experience.Advanced understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and advanced computer skills required.Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracyExcellent communication and customer service skills.Maintain good physical condition, physically able to do heavy lifting of 40 lbs. and kneel.Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all timesReports to : Krista Steffenson - Accountant
