Job description

The BIM coordinator organizes the various aspects of projects while providing technical assistance to production teams. The coordinator ensures compliance with the firm's best practices in BIM, and integrates its management plan based on their experience and the complexity of the project.

They will liaise with modelers alongside dedicated work on several simultaneous projects. With an excellent command of Revit, the BIM coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a high, up-to-date level of knowledge of the tool.

What you will accomplish with us

  • Participate in writing the BIM management plan;
  • Attend interdisciplinary and intradisciplinary BIM meetings;
  • Monitor models;
  • Check the quality and rendering of models;
  • Detect interference;
  • Create families;
  • Create print sheets;
  • Supporting the project team and modellers;
  • Help manage the ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) collaborative platform and / or others;
  • Keeping the BIM Manager informed of projects’ progress to help BIM management make decisions regarding the tools and methodologies deployed;
  • Help maintain a high standard of quality in BIM practices.

Qualifications

What you need

  • College diploma in architectural technology, a university degree in architecture, or any other combination of relevant training and experience;
  • Excellent knowledge of BIM and at least 5 years' relevant experience in BIM;
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software;
  • A team player that’s autonomous and proactive;
  • Curious and creative with a solution-forward mindset;
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously under tight deadlines;
  • Bilingualism in French and English
