Description :

Skip seeks a dynamic and persuasive Lead Client Partner, Retail Media to join our team. Your primary role will be to attract potential clients to purchase advertising space and ensure our current clients are consistently satisfied with our advertising products and services. Get involved on the ground floor creating the vision for a full advertising suite at Skip.

What’s On Your Plate :

Identify and understand clients' advertising needs and the Ads business as a whole.

Drive Revenue Growth by developing, closing, and scaling a robust pipeline of campaigns,  with close partnerships of brands and agency accounts.

Conduct market intel on competitors' advertising services, products, and pricing.

Foster relationships with potential clients to present advertising proposals and address their needs.

Lead the complete sales cycle from first discussions, capabilities, pricing, proposal, negotiations, contract and close; while working with internal leaders as needed to close the deal and advocate for your clients.

Contribute to the preparation of media kits and promotional plans.

Build out Go To Market strategies and business plans.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings. Talk the talk and walk the walk.

Recipe for Success :

Post Secondary degree in Business Administration or related field.

5+ years of Advertising Sales, B2B Sales or related experience with an in-depth knowledge of operations and cost structures within these sectors.

Existing relationships with both clients directly and agencies within Canada. CPG Brands a must.

Proven track record of business development and collaborative account management.

Strong project management, problem-solving, decision-making and negotiation skills.

Strong business acumen and an ability to present and communicate ideas and concepts clearly and effectively.

Experience developing and executing growth strategies to deliver on specific targets.

Ability to communicate and work with cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization.

Ability to align with clients on shared goals for mutually beneficial growth-oriented partnerships.

Ambitious, and knows how to work well alongside other high-performers while   being eager to support teammates.

Receptive to coaching and strives for constant self-improvement.

Able to understand and communicate data, insights and trends.

Highly organized; excels at planning and prioritizing tasks.

Experience with Salesforce, Google Suite & Tableau.

Have a great attitude and a proven self-starter.

Thrive in a rapidly changing environment with high levels of ambiguity.
