One of our clients, a major EPC in the mining industry is looking for a Mechanical Engineer on a long term contract to hire basis. This opportunity is fully remote.

Job Description

• Lead mechanical design efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Design and improve mining and industrial facilities, including plant layouts, process equipment selection, fluid and slurry systems, material handling, HVAC, dust collection, and fuel storage systems.
• Engage in all phases of project execution, from initial scoping and feasibility studies to detailed design, construction support, commissioning, and field engineering.
• Develop and review technical documentation such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Support procurement and construction activities, including vendor coordination, bid evaluations, and package development.
• Foster strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Promote and uphold a strong safety culture, adhering to all company policies and industry best practices.
• Ensure all work aligns with internal procedures, legal requirements, and applicable standards.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $63.00 / hr.
