Gestionnaire de Terminal

Our client situated in Lachine is presently looking for a terminal manager. In this role you will oversees the strategic planning and leadership of all Transport Operations at the terminal. The primary responsibility is to efficiently lead the operational team, ensuring the achievement of operational goals through key performance indicators and fostering strong customer satisfaction and relationships.As a Terminal Manager, you will oversee the Transportation operations department to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability. You will be responsible to supervise all operations personnel, review production, manage budgets, analyze key performance indicators, handle customer escalations, and build vendor relationships. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with safety regulations, manage recruitment and performance, oversee building security and maintenance, and manage company assets. The ideal you must have 5-7 years of management experience in the Transport industry, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. You should also possess excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities. Flexibility with work hours is required.Requirements and Qualifications

• 5-7 years Management experience in Transport industry – overseeing of entire operation / department, LTL environment would be an asset
• Post-Secondary Education with focus on Transport, Logistics, Supply chain Management is an asset.
• Outstanding analytical skills, organizational and planning skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Applicant must possess excellent mathematical skills for analyzing data, P&L Statements, projecting revenues, reviewing and preparing budgets and forecasting the business division needs and requirements for capital, equipment and manpower.
• Possess high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
• Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
• Possess a proven ability to lead employees.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
• Detail problem solving skills and sound decision making skills.
• Able to build team work and positive environment and possess the ability to develop and coach.
• Must be flexible with hours of work to meet the demands of varying shifts
