Job descriptionPossession of a valid forklift certification and demonstrated experience operating a counter-balance lift truck. At least two years of relevant experience. Proficient in both written and verbal communication. Familiarity with bar code scanning and label printing. Basic understanding of mathematics. Competent in using basic hand tools.
One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a Forklift Operator in Surrey, BC for their facility.
Shift - Rotational (Morning & Afternoon)
Pay - $25 / HR Temp, once permanent its $30 / hr
Responsibilities :
- Conduct and properly document daily inspections of forklift trucks.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance and servicing needs of forklift trucks.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, procedures, and standards.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Represent the company positively to both employees and customers.
- Abide by all regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures.
- Undertake any additional tasks delegated by management.
