Executive Underwriter

Our client is one of the biggest insurance carriers and are looking for an Executive Underwriter to join their team in Vancouver. If you are a seasoned underwriter looking for the next step in your career, please check out this role.

What you will be doing :

• Responsible for maintaining a profitable book of business within the underwriting authority
• Involved in making sure that renewals, endorsements and cancellations are within guidelines and set standards.
• Maintain good relationships with brokers to ensure retention and growth of business.
• Ability to analyze new market trends, understand and implement company procedures, develops new opportunities for expansion.
• Mentoring of junior underwriters
• Providing support to managers and assisting in developing additional guidelines.
