About us : The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) is a health-care community dedicated to improving the health of children. The Department of Dentistry is a specialized service for the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with dental disease and related issues. The department is the largest facial cleft and craniofacial center in Canada and is led by an experienced team of paediatric dentists, orthodontists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, prosthodontists, and endodontists.
The members of the department are committed to excellence in child health through improved access to care, innovation, research and education.
What we’re looking for : A part-time staff oral and maxillofacial surgeon for the Department of Dentistry at SickKids, located at 555 University Avenue, Toronto.
Primary responsibilities :
Work expectations are 2 days per month at SickKids to fulfill these responsibilities; with additional clinic and OR resources available to meet patient demands.
Other benefits :
Ongoing support of your professional development, conference attendance and associated necessary travel will be provided under departmental guidelines; time off will be provided to use for conferences, meetings, invited lectures or vacation.
