Catalent’s Windsor, Ontario site offers softgel development and manufacturing capabilities for the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health industries.
We have a broad range of integrated formulation, manufacturing, analytical and packaging services to offer full-service turnkey solutions.
The IT Site Lead, Windsor, Ontario, based out of Windsor, Ontario, reporting to the Regional Manager of IT Service Delivery, North America West, is accountable for the overall IT Support and local IT enablement primarily for the facility located in Windsor, Ontario with oversight support for the Wright St and Adair Blvd sites in Strathroy, Ontario.
The IT Site Lead, Windsor, Ontario will be responsible for the site IT strategy in coordination with the Catalent Global standards and PCH business unit specific solutions.
Will directly support end-users and partner with site leaders to ensure IT is delivering expected appropriate service levels to support the operations of the site and is involved with planning a roadmap for site digital maturity.

The Role :
Work with Site Leadership to understand strategy and business challenges to proactively recommend IT solutions
Work with both global and local teams to optimize consistent support models and standardized services
Assist with developing the site IT Strategy & Roadmap in coordination with the overall IT Strategy
Work with business and IT leaders to deliver strategic initiatives requiring IT solutions
Work with Operational Technologies (Lab systems and Automation team) for project priority, standards, and support responsibilities
Ensure daily site support and projects are planned, tracked and completed (budget, resources, schedule); risks identified and mitigated
Escalate local IT site issues to ensure effective and timely resolution
Travel up to 10% (domestic)

The Candidate :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and / or Management Information Systems, required
Five+ years of relevant and progressive IT support leading at least three+ IT subordinates
Demonstrated ITIL expertise is required; ITIL certification is a plus
Experience with ITSM tools (i.e. ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, etc.); including CMDB
Experience with IT management tools preferred : ServiceNow, SolarWinds, InTune, AutoPilot, etc.
Ability and willingness to provide 'on-call' and / or after-hours services as requested
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience
