We're looking for a Collections Officer for our Stride Capital team at our location in Southwest Calgary.

Reporting to the Director of Leasing Operations, the Collections Officer is responsible for the timely and professional collection of past due accounts.

You will help the organization recover its funds and maintain good relationships with its members. You will use your skills in sales, communication, interviewing, listening, and problem-solving to achieve this. You will also follow the credit union’s policies and procedures, as well as the relevant laws and regulations, when performing your duties.

Key responsibilities are but not limited to :

• Contact customers to collect past due payments of accounts
• Maintain a structured day to day collection process
• Produce and maintain collection related customer correspondence
• Enter all notes into LeasePlus regarding collections, insurance, and bailiff updates
• Document and follow through with customer payment arrangements
• Prepare Bailiff files as required
• Contribute to the remarketing of off-lease assets
• Administrate payouts, payment date changes and account reconciliations

Education and Training :

Diploma / Certificate in accounting, business management, commerce or other related fields is an asset.
