We are currently seeking Camp Kitchen Attendants / Sandwich Makers for one of our remote Canadian project locations!

Job Requirements :

You are team oriented, motivated, and have a high attention for details, accuracy, and can prioritize tasks. You will play a key role at one of our remote exploration camps by performing all primary responsibilities in a timely manner independently. This position reports to the Executive Chef.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks according to safe work practices and safe job procedures.
• First cook of unsafe practices and unsafe environment.
• Report all incidents and accidents immediately.
• Practice good housekeeping in the work area at all times.
• Participate in daily Toolbox meetings.
• Perform dish washing as per Food Safety Plan.
• Perform cleaning and sanitization of all surfaces, equipment and smallwares as per the camps' Food Safety Plan and Covid protocols.
• Make sandwiches daily, as per directed menu plans, ensuring quality and freshness at all times.
• Support food safe storage and labeling of potential food allergy items.
• Ensure food storage areas are organized.
• Participate in daily Toolbox meetings.
• Wash and replace bed linens as required.
• Clean and sanitize Dry Area
• Clean common spaces at work site, TV room, dining room, laundry room

Benefits

3 weeks on, 3 weeks off rotation.

295 per day, based on a 12 hour shift.

Charter flights from Edmonton, AB, or Yellowknife, NT and all food and accommodations are provided.
