We are currently looking for aLicensing Administratorto be based in our Montreal office.

Position Overview :

Working within the Licensing Team your role will be to administer the rights of all worldwide sales distributed by all our entities. You will be the first point of contact for our sales executives and provide information on available film rights. You will draft new sales agreements & negotiate deal terms as necessary with our clients. You will keep our Rights Management software (Filmtrack) up to date on new sales and acquired projects.

Main Responsibilities :

• Draft and review License Agreements, Amendments and Renewals.
• Enter key information from worldwide sales agreements into our Rights Management database (Filmtrack) including Rights sold, Territories, Languages, Billing Schedules, Financial Terms and Revenue Recognition Methods.
• Ensure our Rights Management software remains up to date with all changes occurring throughout the negotiation process.
• Run Conflict Checks against Acquisitions and Previous sales to ensure proper rights are in place.
• Liaise with Sales executives and Legal Counsel for any conflicts pertaining to the rights of the Films.
• Follow-up with clients to ensure contracts are signed on a timely basis.
• Generate various reports from our Rights Software and review worldwide rights availabilities.
• Month end & quarterly closing of License Windows reflecting revenue recognition.
