About the opportunity :
As a Practice Advisor Indigenous Relations at CLBC you will support initiatives aimed at increasing cultural safety within CLBC and influence Indigenous community inclusion strategies across the sector. You will provide province-wide leadership working closely with Head Office Departments and Regional Operations to develop innovative approaches to advancing CLBCs relationships with First Nations Metis Inuit partners and Urban indigenous agencies individuals and communities.
This dynamic position is responsible for developing CLBCs capacity to understand and respond to the needs of Indigenous individuals and their families who live within or outside of First Nations communities including urban and rural communities. This includes providing practice consultation and planning guidance to regional operations staff with an Indigenous cultural lens coordinating training at the team or region level and providing expert knowledge for the implementation of cross-government policy agreements.
