The Production Manager assists and works closely with the Plant Manager with day-to-day production operations including production planning, production activities and quality control. The incumbent plays a key role in ensuring the successful operations of the plant.

Production / Operations

• Oversees preparation line (stacker), Mill, treating, shipping, receiving, maintenance and quality control activities
• Support plant manager with management duties
• Approve production orders and interacts frequently with the procurement and planning groups
• Collects, maintains and review production data for potential improvements
• Post production transactions in the ERP system (SAP)
• Actively participate in cycle and annual inventory
• Monitors quality and workmanship to ensure quality control
• Works closely with various departments to optimize inventory loss with maximum recovery
• Participates in facility improvements projects
• Available for on call for emergencies and alarms
• Performs other duties as assigned
