Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Create and execute the warehousing sales plan including new service offerings, target market vertical opportunities, and market outreach strategies.
  • Work with management to create effective market outreach campaigns.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry participants, clients, and referral partners.
  • Source and contact prospective customers through networking, email, social media and cold calling. Oversee outsourced lead generation activities.
  • Prepare and conduct sales presentations to prospective customers.
  • Manage client contract and pricing negotiations.
  • Develop and communicate key market information to assess the competitive landscape and pricing.
  • Develop and monitor sales KPI’s to measure the ROI of sales initiatives.
  • Provide regular detailed sales reporting to management and shareholders including sales pipeline activities, deal conversion rates, and critical sales pipeline insights.
  • Manage CRM to monitor sales funnel activities and develop a rolling monthly sales forecast.
  • Provide useful and constant customer feedback to the operations and transportation teams to enhance technology and services utilizing both Customers’ and Company ideas and insights.
  • Work on various strategies to ensure long-term customer retention.

Qualifications :

  • Warehousing sales experience (including eCommerce) of 5+ years.
  • Established Logistics network.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and field experience.
  • Experience prospecting, developing relationships, and driving revenue in the logistics industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to always act professionally.
  • Expertise in Sales Cycles and CRM Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an evolving and fast paced environment.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work cross-functionally.
