Position summary

CHHD – Child Health and Human Development

The MyeliNeuroGene Research Laboratory, directed by Dr. Genevieve Bernard, MD, MSc, a clinician-scientist, is looking for a motivated person to fill the position of full-time Research Associate. The team specializes in genetic white matter diseases, leukodystrophies, and related disorders. Under the direction of the principal investigator, the candidate participates in the execution of various activities including expertise in iPSCs, OPCs, OLs, organoids, and other CNS cell cultures. The candidate is also expected to contribute to grant writing.

General Duties

• Supervise and train student researchers
• Help supervise the overall iPSC Platform
• Maintain cultures of iPSCs and differentiated cell types
• Generate CRISPR edited iPSC lines
• Contribute to grant writing
