A leading Vancouver-based food manufacturing company—one with a strong import model and a global footprint in more than 50 countries—is seeking a Marketing & Product Innovation Director to help guide the next chapter of brand and product evolution. This is a rare opportunity to shape a category-leading product line, steward its market share leadership, and drive creative thinking across flavour development, packaging, and go-to-market execution.
This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and manufacturing. You will work hands-on with co-packers and co-manufacturers to bring products to life, while also shaping how those products show up in retail, in social channels, and in the minds of consumers worldwide. The role will evolve as the business evolves, offering long-term runway for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment.

The ideal person brings a blend of creativity, collaboration, commercial awareness, and a conciliatory approach to working across functions and cultures. Experience in food manufacturing and marketing is essential, along with the ability to work full-time from the Vancouver head office.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:

• Lead the ongoing evolution of the product line, including flavour innovation, packaging design enhancements, and pack-size optimization.
• Drive creative ideation for retail execution, point-of-sale materials, and trade-focused marketing campaigns targeting global retail partners.
• Develop fresh, engaging creative for social media, digital content, and brand storytelling across all key markets.
• Partner with co-packers and co-manufacturers to bring new and refreshed products to market efficiently and at scale.
• Conduct market, consumer, and competitive analysis to maintain category leadership and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—sales, operations, quality, and leadership—to align product and marketing strategy with business priorities.
• Support ongoing innovation cycles as the product portfolio expands and the role grows with the company.

To be successful, you should have the following in your background:

• Experience in food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, and/or food product development.
• A track record of marketing, brand management, or product innovation within the food or CPG sector.
• Strong creative instincts, with the ability to generate ideas, iterate, and bring concepts to life in packaging, retail, and digital environments.
• Experience working with co-manufacturers or co-packers.
• A collaborative, conciliatory approach to partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work from the Vancouver head office full-time.

Compensation is in the six-figure range and negotiable based on experience.
