We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mailroom Clerk to join our client's team on a 1-month contract. This role entails smooth handling and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and packages, supporting efficient operations across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring accurate and timely distribution across departments.
- Coordinate courier drop-offs and pickups within the mailroom.
- Label parcels and prepare shipments using UPS systems.
- Operate basic mailroom equipment and utilize UPS computer systems for tracking and processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized mailroom workspace.
- Collaborate with colleagues and provide excellent customer service when responding to inquiries regarding mail and packages.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience as a mailroom clerk preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including operating tracking systems.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift packages up to 30 lbs as part of daily tasks.
