AMD together we advance THE ROLE : The AMD Central Engineering organization is looking for Senior Program Managers to manage IP vendor engagements in the analog and mixed signal (AMS) area.

Your work will be a critical part in the AMD SOC development process that will continue to enable AMD to develop industry leading computing and graphics products.

You will work with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, participate in vendor scoping and contract drafting and review for new custom AMS projects.

You will collaborate with external partners to ensure that project requirements and milestones are met on schedule. You will also periodically review the vendor engagement process to identify gaps and identify opportunities for improvements .

THE PERSON : Outstanding collaborator and communicator with the ability to work with internal and external partners Proactive and execution focused mindset with strong program management skills Excellent problem structuring and problem-solving skills Able to manage a high degree of complexity Ability to build trust, relationships, and influence across teams Ability to drive cross-functional internal alignment for new IP development requirements Ability to identify process gaps, propose solutions, and drive implementation Strong attention to detail with a high sense of urgency Ability to adapt to changing priorities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Defines, plans and drives projects and program plans based on management and senior technical guidance Work with internal stakeholders to define, review and signoff project requirements Work with external vendors to draft, review and signoff IP development contracts Track development progress by establishing and reviewing key metrics Manage day-to-day action items, tracking and reporting to ensure a closed loop of priority work Review existing processes and methods to improve project and team efficiencies PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Experience in working with external vendors, preferably in the semiconductor industry Demonstrated project and program management leadership success Experience leading and managing multiple complex projects at a given time with successful results Experience with semiconductor / AMS development is preferred Familiarity with I / O standards is desirable Proficiency in collaboration and project management tools include issue trackers Good breadth of technical knowledge and experience in multi-disciplinary areas ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS : Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Formal Project Management education, PMP certified preferred #LI-DD3 #LI-HYBRID Benefits offered are described : AMD benefits at a glance.
