We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our head office located in Vernon, British Columbia. Our head office houses Tolko’s corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications :

• Business / Accounting or related post-secondary training.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Exceptional customer service skills for both internal and external clients.
• Previous accounts payable experience and working knowledge of JDE Edwards are considered assets.

• Be accountable for the timely processing of payables.
• Verify accounts from suppliers, making sure that payments are in the correct currency, are coded correctly, discounts taken, payments processed on time and in correct financial period for payables received.
• Use a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Be a resourceful team player who can work independently.
