Data Systems Developer, SQL & Python

Salary : $55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements :

• Strong knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and enterprise database structures
• Extensive experience in designing and developing data systems and supporting infrastructure
• Proficient in SQL with practical knowledge of tools like Postgres, Oracle, and MySQL
• Familiarity with Parquet, data warehousing, and data lakehouse architectures
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
• In-depth understanding of ETL / ELT processes, OLTP / OLAP systems, and performance optimization techniques
• Ability to navigate changing systems and build solutions from the ground up
• Team-oriented mindset, willing to collaborate and contribute to shared objectives

Responsibilities :

Design and create scalable data systems and infrastructures, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes

Build and enhance ETL / ELT pipelines for efficient data flow among systems

Work with SQL, Parquet, and Postgres to manage structured and semi-structured data

Implement and optimize OLAP and OLTP systems for performance and scalability

Define and maintain data models, schemas, and necessary documentation

Establish and refine data governance practices and reliability standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical data solutions

Utilize platforms like AWS to support and scale our cloud-based data environment

Assist with analytics and reporting initiatives using tools like Tableau or Power BI
