BarChef, the internationally acclaimed cocktail bar located on Queen Street West in downtown Toronto is looking to hire a full time candidate to fill the position of Mixologist. You will be required to show strong cocktail knowledge, spirit knowledge and great technique.

Be dedicated and earnest in learning our approach to cocktails.

Duties :

• Be able to service a large section efficiently
• Interact with guests courteously and be able to create a regular clientele
• Create custom cocktails as per the guests requests
• Create regular guests through great service and cocktails
• Create great experiences at the bar and at on-site and off-site events
• Follow direction from the Bar Manager and execute recipes impeccably
• Maintain and fulfill prep lists pertaining to our cocktail program
• Fulfill opening and closing duties efficiently and effectively
• Keep a clean work environment

Requisite Skills :

Have an impeccable knowledge of spirits, and classic cocktails

Be passionate about progressive techniques in cocktail development

Must have a positive attitude and be customer service oriented

Work well with others

Be accountable and willing to learn

Work effectively while under pressure

An Ontario drivers license is an asset

Please note that the hourly range indicated in the add is the average earnings inclusive of tips

Salary : $30.00-$60.00 per hour (Tip Inclusive)
