And this is where you come in…At Kabam, our Publishing Services client team is responsible for developing a cross-platform, cross-engine library that brings Kabam publishing services to all of our games. You will be working with inspired and motivated peers who embrace a culture of continuous learning and improvement and are unafraid of venturing into the unknown.The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, is highly proficient with systems design, and is laser-focused on details, yet understands the big picture and plans for the long-term.

In this role, you can expect to :

  • Collaborate with data, marketing, and game teams to understand their needs and provide the most effective technical solutions
  • Participate extensively in the development of our game publishing services' client SDK library that will be used by multiple game teams
  • Collaborate closely with server engineers to develop sensible and extensible APIs for Kabam services
  • Mentor and support peer programmers in their contributions to the library, and customers' engineers in their usage of the library. As a mentor, this position will have growth potential within people management / leadership

To be successful we are looking for :

  • BS / MS in Computing Science or equivalent
  • 7+ experience with desktop, console, and / or mobile client software development
  • Advanced technical experience with C++ and C#
  • Experience using and writing plugins / libraries for Unreal and / or Unity
  • Solid understanding of source control (GitHub, Perforce) and CI / CD workflows
  • Ability to tailor communications to the audience - knowing when and how to use technical jargon
  • Experience collaborating with game development teams and knowledge of modern game development practices.
  • Nice to have :

  • Experience reading and writing in Objective-C, Java
  • Practical experience and knowledge developing software for iOS and Android ecosystems
  • Experience in game production
  • Experience with backend development, SQL
  • Experience developing software libraries shared by multiple customers
