This includes troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of broadcast, transmission, audio-visual, broadcast IT and related equipment

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, installation and maintenance of broadcast, audio-visual and related equipment
  • Recommending procurement of materials needed to maintain and improve the Broadcast department
  • Maintenance, distribution and installation of televisions throughout our properties

Key Success Factors

  • Technical Broadcast experience, online and social experience is a considerable asset
  • NTSC and ATSC broadcast technical standards
  • Familiarity with broadcast production
  • Wiring for video, audio, intercom and RF
  • Proficiency with PC-based computer software applications, including MS Office Suite
  • Advanced organization, verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills required on a regular basis
  • Ability to work both independently and part of a team
  • Post-secondary diploma or certification in television technology or a related field

Working Conditions

  • Able to work shift work, days, afternoons, weekends and holidays
  • Travel between Woodbine, Mohawk and other corporate properties as required
