Position Overview :

We are seeking a motivated and organized Production Coordinator & Controller to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will oversee production schedules, ensure efficient workflow, manage inventory levels, and maintain quality standards. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to effectively coordinate between various teams and departments.

Key Responsibilities :

Production Coordination :

  • Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer orders and deadlines.
  • Monitor production progress and address any delays or issues.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely completion of daily tasks.

Inventory Control :

  • Monitor raw material inventory levels and place replenishment orders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory usage and production output.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Quality Assurance :

  • Inspect production processes and products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Identify and address quality issues or deviations promptly.
  • Process Improvement :

  • Recommend improvements to production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement best practices.
  • Reporting :

  • Maintain and update production and inventory reports for management.
  • Provide weekly updates on production progress and inventory status.
  • Team Support :

  • Serve as a liaison between production staff, sales, and management.
  • Address team needs and ensure smooth communication across departments.
  • Qualifications :

  • Mandatory Proven 3 to 5 years experience in production coordination, inventory control, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
