Early Childhood Educator IT

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation reporting and record keeping.
• Implement an Emergent Curriculum
• Support childrens emotional physical or behavioural well-being; while helping to develop their social emotional cognitive and physical skills.
• Maintain attendance and health and safety checks.
• Work with professionals such as Speech Therapists Occupational Therapists and Early Interventionists as necessary
• Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
• Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops

Specifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with children parents and co-workers.
• Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation reporting and classroom operations
• Strong collaborator and team player
• Ability to take the initiative in and out of the classroom
• Strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• BC ECE / IT License
• Criminal Record Check
• Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR
• Immunization records up to date
• Ability to push pull and lift up-to 45 pounds
